The Art of Dreaming
Bob DeNatale’s latest film is The Art of Dreaming, a 40 minute mini-feature that tells the strange story of Maya Rivers, a young woman who practices Lucid Dreaming, only to find that her dreaming and waking life beginning to merge.
It stars Kate Villanova and Walker Hare. Music by Lenny Gonzalez. Che Broadnax was the Director of Photography. It was produced by Jenna Payne.
The Art of Dreaming received the award for Best Experimental Film at the 2017 Brightside Tavern Film Festival.
The Art of Dreaming has been called “transcendent,” (Mark Bell, Film Threat Magazine),
“thought-provoking … frightening … compelling,” (Richard Propes, The Independent Critic),
and “eerie, enticing” (Philip Smolen, Rogue Cinema.)
